Each year our club sponsores a celebration for members of the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence, Kansas.  This year a picnic cookout was held.  After the cookout B&G Club members went swimming in the downtown-outdoor Lawrence pool.  

Several members from the club participated in making this a special day for our youth:  Emmett Mitchell (in charge of the project), Ralph Clement, Sharen Steele, Jim Rumsey, Art Queen, Mike Penny, Dwight Jackson, Bob Burkhart, Dudley Crow, Ernie Dyer, Dan Harden, Dick Holzmeister,  & Kim Williams.
