Proposals

These three proposals are being offered to the Lawrence Breakfast Optimists club for consideration and vote at our meeting on November 6th.  There will be no program at this meeting and we will devote our meeting to discussion and vote on these proposals.  These proposals are being offered to provide funding for our club’s meeting area expenses.
Proposal 1:  One price for all with breakfast included
Each member pays $3.00 per week for the meeting space.  This is to cover the Brandon Woods Smith Center meeting fee which is $210.00 per week.  This includes breakfast and coffee.  The Breakfast Optimist board is making a proposal to charge $3.00 to each member each week and take away the quarterly $6.50 meeting fee.   Under this proposal there would be no additional member charge for breakfast or coffee at the meeting.  Total breakfast cost is $3.00.
Proposal 2:  One price for all with additional cost for meeting attendance and breakfast 
Each member pays $1.50 per week for the meeting place.  Members who attend the meeting pay an additional $1.50, and can have coffee; members who eat pay an additional $3.00 for breakfast and coffee. Total breakfast cost is $6.00. This option will cost each member $1.00 more per week than our current fee schedule, $13 per quarter.  Attending meetings will cost an additionial $1.50 per meeting.
Proposal 3:  One price for all with additional cost for breakfast 
Each member pays $1.50 per week for the meeting place.  Members who eat pay an additional $4.50 for breakfast.  Total breakfast cost is $6.00.  This option will cost each member $1.00 more per week than our current fee schedule.

November 5th, 2007 - Three proposals for supporting our meeting space and breakfast costs.  Proposal 2 was selected in our meeting on November 5th, 2007.
